It’s been a while since the last report. Paul, the best guide on the lake, has been catching an average of 20 fish and people miss about the same number in a half day trip. We give 5 hours for a half day trip. He has been catching mostly stripers, some of them reaching 6 pounds. They are fat and healthy and they will give you a great fight! Paul gets out early in the morning, he usually takes off at 5am Arizona time. The temps have been getting up around 104 but the temps are nice early in the morning and he gets you back before it gets too hot. We have plenty of icy bottled water and a soda and there is plenty of room in the cooler for a few extra drinks if you want to bring your own. We are using frozen anchovies to catch the stripers.
