The water in the lake is low which increases the distance we have to travel to get up lake. Plus, with the high gas and oil prices there will be a gas surcharge added to the rates for guided trips. Thank you for your understanding.
The gas surcharge could be $20 to $80+ depending on how far up-lake we go. Lake Powell is 187 miles long!

Mike was a great guy and a better fisherman. Every person in our boat caught at least 6 stripers (plus a few channel cats), which he described as a "slow day". best lake fishing charter I have ever been on, highly recommend

Mike is an amazing guide. He is very knowledgeable in the history of the lake and knows where the fish are. His boat is clean and he runs a clean set up. Super nice guy and was great with our 7 & 9 year old kids. We had a ton of fun and caught a lot of fish. Without any hesitation I would recommend Mike to anybody heading to lake Powell for a fishing trip. Thanks again Mike!

Our trip out to Lake Powell was a blast thanks to Mike. He was able to take us out with fairly little notice and really made it an enjoyable experience. My kids were able to catch fish using artificial lures and have been asking to fish more ever since. He was great with the children and extremely knowledgeable. Mike even took some additional time to let the kids swim some. I will definitely use his services next time we are out there. Thanks!

My wife and I have been fishing Lake Powell for many years with Mike Mcnabb. We wwouldnever go fishing here with anyone else. I'm a severely handicapped vet and Mike has always gone out of his way to accomodate my needs. Mike makes the trips fun for Barb and I. He knows so much about the lake itself and it's fishing. We have caught well over 100 stripers a day on most of our trips. We only keep the ones that Mike says will be good eating looking for those fat and healthy. Bass fishing with Mike has also been great. We consider Mike our fishing guide, but a good friend as well If we could rate him more than five stars we would

My husband & I on October 16th met our fishing guide, Paul McNabb at 6:15 am at the State Line boat ramp to explore and fish Lake Powell. Paul was not your typical guide, he was extremely knowledgeable of the area, the history of the canyons and most of all put us on fish immediately We caught strippers and smallmouth bass fish. My husband and I are avid anglers and Paul knew his stuff, we could tell he had ample years of experience on this body of water. We highly recommend Paul if your looking for a legal registered Captain and experienced fishing guide. We hope to come back to Lake Powell and if course we know who we'll call, Paul McNabb.

Mike was very knowledgeable of Lake Powell and knew exactly where to go to catch fish. We ended up catching over 12 fish. Mike was also nice enough to show up some really cool slot canyons. I would definitely call Mike again the next time we're at Lake Powell.

Mike went above and beyond as an expert guide to Lake Powell. We saw Rainbow Bridge, fished, swam and saw where part of the film Gravity with Sandra Bullock was filmed. Mike was top-notch. Our time with him was the highlight of our 2-week road trip. I highly recommend his services.
