On Saturday 10/1/22 Paul, my son, caught 70 stripers and smallmouth. About 30 were top water and the rest with anchovies.
The next day 10/2/22 I went with him and caught 25+ and Paul caught 21, mostly stripers. The top water bite had cooled off. The stripers were fat and healthy. We also caught several channel cats that ranged from 2 #s to 7 #s.
On 10/4/22 With three people on board, we caught 10 stripers, 7 catfish, and 8 small mouths. It seems like the bite is getting better during mid-day. The weather is cooling off and afternoon fishing temps are in the 70s.
Paul took out two ladies on Thursday morning 10/6/22 caught 25 stripers. In the afternoon Paul caught 35. stripers on anchovies.
On 10/7/22 he took the ladies from the trip the day before so that one lady could catch a fish in Utah. Now the lady has caught fish in all 50 states!
